Straatzinnen (“Street sentences”) is a light art project for and by the neighbourhood. These Straatzinnen are used to create a connection within the community. An artist has already been engaged to collaborate with residents in crafting sentences that can be placed as neon lights in the surroundings. However, the request for advice to het Stadscuratorium was made at a rather late stage of the project. Additionally, it is a small part of a larger project. In order to form a coherent judgement about the project, SCA would like to receive an overview of the planned artworks, along with the vision and argumentation.
