In 1666, the first Armenian Bible was printed in Amsterdam after numerous failed attempts elsewhere in Europe. Therefore, the Armenian community and the Armenian Apostolic Church Surp Hoki have taken the initiative to place a statue of the Armenian Bible in the public space of Amsterdam.
