White Noise

Giny Vos

Today’s spotlight: White Noise, the light art installation by artist Giny Vos in Amsterdam’s Zuidas business district.

White Noise is a light installation that comes to life in the evening high up on the telecom tower in Amsterdam’s Zuidas business district — a dynamic sky of twinkling stars, planets, falling meteorites, and small explosions, interspersed with codes of letters and numbers that seem to whisper about human communication.

Giny Vos is inspired by the mysterious forces of the universe, by radio waves, and by the way information is sent and received. The result is an enormous work of art in which light and rhythm come together to form a cosmic dance above the city.

SCA wishes everyone a very happy New Year, sparkling and bright!
