Mobilis

On behalf of the municipality of Amsterdam, Mobilis is constructing an underground parking garage beneath the Singelgracht. As part of the tender, art and participation are integrated into the development project. Kunstmest, commissioned by Mobilis, is responsible for the implementation: the project “Buitenstebinnen,” in which residents’ stories inspire murals by Dewy Elsinga. Various participatory activities are used to create a connection between the aboveground and underground spaces.
