Anyone looking into the sun sees spots in front of their eyes. This is exactly what artist Roland Schimmel played with in this artwork.
In Vinkenstraat, high above all the bicycle racks rises Schimmel’s painting, applied to the end of one of the properties. All kinds of circles can be discovered, black, white, blurred and coloured.
If you look intensively at the painting, you don’t really remember what is real and what is not. The artist shows that looking is a dynamic activity.
