Ze komen eraan

Tycho

The housing crisis in particular sparked a new wave of critical street art in the city. Artist Tycho turned his attention to urgent urban issues such as gentrification, the housing shortage, and mass tourism.

With a background in graffiti, Tycho created subversive interventions in public space: sharp slogans, alternative street signs, and images that speak directly to the street. The work Ze komen eraan is engaged and accessible, focused on urban change, yet always delivered with a bitter dose of humour.
